Citing the ʿAbbasid caliph al-Nasir li-din Allah (AH 575-622 / AD 1180-1225), ‘li-dīn Allāh / lā ilāha illā / Allāh Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh / al-Nāṣir’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. al-Nasir li-din Allah’ in an ornate calligraphy in Arabic); margin effaced. Rev. Within a circle, ‘khān / al-khāqān al-ʿādil / ʿImād al-Dunyā wa / al-Dīn Ulugh Ikdish / Chaghrī’ (‘The Just Khaqan, ʿImad al-Dunya wa al-Din Ulugh Igdish Chaghri Khan’ in an ornate calligraphy in Arabic); margin effaced. Album 3425. Very rare. Weak strike and with some deposits and an edge crack, otherwise, good fine.
